The Delhi government has indeed launched dedicated stress‑management OPD services in government hospitals.

Here’s what’s happening:

  • Starting next week, selected Delhi government hospitals (including Tibbia College and four others) will begin offering specialized stress‑management OPD services.(India Today)
  • These services will be based on AYUSH therapies, such as Unani, Homeopathy, and meditation, and will provide accessible, non‑invasive, holistic support for mental well‑being.(India Today)
  • Stress‑management OPDs will offer counselling, lifestyle guidance (diet, sleep, exercise), and incorporate traditional healing approaches—not just medication—to help manage anxiety and promote long‑term wellness.(The New Indian Express)

Broader mental health initiatives in Delhi

  1. Four‑tier AYUSH mental health programme

Earlier, Delhi announced a comprehensive mental health programme covering stress and anxiety across age groups.

Features include:

  • Teleconsultations
  • Mental health counselling
  • OPD services at AYUSH hospitals
  • Referral systems to psychiatric or allopathic care when needed

This initiative targets children, working professionals, women, and senior citizens—and is designed to be anonymous, accessible, and stigma‑free, rooted in traditional medical systems like Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy, and Yoga. (The New Indian Express)

  1. Digital healthcare infrastructure

The Delhi government has also launched the Health Information Management System (HIMS), enabling online OPD bookings at 35 government hospitals, digital OPD slips, and access to real‑time medical records - greatly reducing queues and improving access.(Dynamite News Hindi, India Today)

🌟 Define Yourself, Authentically 🌟

Too often, we let others shape how we see ourselves—especially in the workplace. These labels can impact our mental health, influence our professional journeys, and limit our potential.

But here’s the truth: Your worth and potential are not dictated by external perceptions. You hold the power to define your goals, your success, and yourself.

💡 Why This Matters:

  • Embracing your self-definition fosters resilience and self-empowerment.
  • It frees you from limiting beliefs and societal expectations, allowing you to thrive.
  • Supporting diverse identities in the workplace creates a positive, inclusive culture for all.

Remember: You are the author of your story. Define yourself with compassion, kindness, and authenticity. And don’t forget to lift others as you rise. Together, we can build a world where individuality is celebrated.

Key Reflections on Healing

👉 Healing asks us to become mindful of the way we show up for others. It’s about relating in ways that use ‘power to empower’, rather than perpetuating paradigms of heroes and helplessness.

👉 Healing requires stepping off pedestals—both the ones we place ourselves on and the ones we place others upon.

👉 True belonging starts when we stand together on common ground, embracing the chaos of this world as a shared experience.

Questions to Ponder

❓ What do you think? ❓ Are you truly ‘holding space’?

🌟 Neurodivergence Isn't an Excuse—It's an Explanation 🌟

Here’s the truth:

👉 It explains why we’ve tried so hard but still struggled. 👉 Why we’ve worked 250x harder just to appear 'normal.' 👉 Why the support we’ve accessed hasn’t fit our needs. 👉 Why we’ve been called 'lazy' or 'stupid'—and believed it. 👉 Why we’ve felt broken, without knowing why. 👉 Why connection can feel so difficult. 👉 Why 'easy' things aren’t easy for us.

An article I read suggested people want ADHD diagnoses as a 'convenient excuse' for normal struggles, draining resources from those who “really need it.”

But who gets to decide who 'needs it most'? Who defines what 'normal struggles' are?

Why should anyone have to hit crisis point before they can access help?

Books like Alex Partridge’s "Now It All Makes Sense" or Kat Brown’s "It’s Not a Bloody Trend" are lifelines for many—offering understanding, validation, and community.

Instead of blaming people seeking support, why aren’t we challenging the broken systems that failed them in the first place?

Let’s destigmatize, support, and advocate for change.
